Black Label Riesling

Alkoomi Black Label Riesling draws from estate vineyards in the Frankland River region, harvested over two weeks in the early hours of the morning.

This wine is a fine tuned blend of fruit parcels, including grapes from the original 1971 planting through to a block of Geisenhein clone Riesling planted in 2003.

The free run juice of each parcel is fermented separately, allowing the final wine to show regional and varietal character.

Straw green, Alkoomi Black Label Riesling has intense citrus flavours, a long line of acidity and a powdery texture. Cellaring potential is eight years.
